Le
Yaudet is famous for its little chapel and beautiful coastal path
leading down to a tiny beach surrounded by rocks but much larger
at low tide then all the way round to Loquemeau, taking in the
views over the Leguire estuary. It continues on to the Domaine
du Dorven, a park with it picnic tables. On the way there are
a couple of cute little bays joined at low tide called Plage de
Kiriou. This is quite a walk and probably best from started from
the Park ( Domaine du Dorven ) and finished at the beach at Le
Yaudet rather than having to climb the strenuous hill up to the
Yaudet itself.
We have never seen so many people cockling as in this estuary
and not too sure whether it was permitted or not!!
