St
Efflams beach is five miles of golden sand and is split in half
at a group of rocks called the Grand Rocher where it becomes St
Michel en Greve.
St Efflam is famous for its chariot racing, held once a year,
although this year has seen an increase in kite surfing, which
is fascinating to watch!
There is a nautical centre down on the beach where Sand yachts
can be hired, great fun.
Although we don’t tend to come for a swim as its so flat,
its is great for kites, boules and sand castles and at the St
Michel end we can often be found in the plage Hotel watching the
glorious sunsets
