Bay 12- Treburden (Plage de Tresmeur)

A truly beautiful beach and lovely for swimming, we like Treburden. It has quite a large port of reasonable sized boats, and some little restaurants and café’s. There are some lovely coastal walks taking in the giant granite rocks, the famous being ‘ le Pere’. There is also a further sweet little beach with beach huts called Page du Pors termin, again with lovely views out to the small islands out to sea.

From here you can walk to the lle Milleu at low tide, checking with the coast guard office or tourist office first of the tide timetable. It takes about an hour to walk around the island and there are some Menhirs to see en route.

The drive to Tregastel takes you on a pretty costal route past three smaller beaches on the way!
