A
15 minute drive from Lannion, this is where the Cote de Granite
Rose starts and it’s a truly amazing landscape as you approach
treburden and Tregastel.
The first beach is called 'Maez an Aod', which is reached by a
fair walk down hill from the car park then down some steps, not
suitable for a pushchair. It is a pretty circular bay but only
at low tide as the tide comes right up to the steps. We believe
this may be a naturist beach but we’ve only visited out
of season!
The second bay is much larger called plage de beg leguer, large
car park with facilities and a new café surveillance post
and youth hostel for 2005.
Very pretty setting in a heathery landscape, however the beach
is scattered with rocks and probably not the best for swimming
on.
